Everything happens for a PURPOSE!!! Is it?? Isn't it???

I strongly believe in destiny and the especially the quote "Everything happens for a purpose, for a being, and it serves you". So when ever something let me down(even the recent times of Effigent - Prithvi merger too) i just made myself bold enough to believe that something good is going to happen and so this happened now. Proving it very correct an incident happened and so is the subject of the post.

Its some time back in the month of February, i had just a day visit to banglore for some personal reason. I had to visit a place called Vithurashtra around 140KM from blr. My sis had already been there and so i got the route from her as Banglore -- Chikballapur - Dhodballapur -- GowriBidnur - Vithurashtra. Its actually the route which an RTC bus takes you thru. So, it took her totally 3-4 hrs from blr to reach there. So, if you try to travel the same way on bike, generally it should take lesser time. Moreover, the place i had to visit will be closed by 11:30 - 12:00 PM. So to reach the place in a bus, i need to start by atleast 7:00AM and by that time i may not reach blr even by private travels or even by train. As i just go a day leave from office i had no other way to take a bike drive to the place rather than a bus. So, i requested my friend and borrowed his bike for a day.

Banglore Express put in blr by 7:00AM in the morning and by the time my friend picked me up at majestic to his home and the bath it was 8:45AM. I rushed out after taking the route map from him. It was just the second time i had been to blr and literally i know no route in blr. So, my friend just drew the map from the place HSRLayout via ring road to Tin Factory to the point he knows the route. So, just with that route map i just started out in probably a wild hunt.

Just after i sprung out on the route, the tyre was flat. Donno why such things like fuel drying up, puncture etc happens especially when you are in hurry or going on some imp. work. I donno the area where i am and i cant see any repair shop near by. The place was pretty isolated giving sense that i must be on the outskirts or so. But just on a minute drive i could find a repair shop. Hurried there and asked the person to fill in the air. But he said that filling the air to max. possible can just take you for 10 kms and again you need to refill the air tube which looked very risky as i am going to complete different place and may be i cant find any repair shops in the middle of drive. So, having no other option i yelled at him to patch it up quickly. But he was not like us(when our PM asks for deadline for a work), he said that he would need atleast 20 - 30 mins to patch it up. Duh!!!Hmm ok...ofcoz wat else can i do??? I asked to start of immediately.

I planned to utilize the 20-30 mins time i got to find the exact and detailed route to Vithurashtra. But i had pretty hard time with language to find it from the vendors, peddlers etc. But, its banglore buddy. Theres a joke abt blr, "If you throw a stone in blr, it wud either hit a dog or a software engineer" :) lollllllllll...... I could notice some software company at the other side of the road. I immediately rushed there to find some one who can understand English atleast if not telugu. I found many but none know the route to the place. The max possible route they can give me is the Tin Factory which my friend has already drawn it for me. Everyone said, "Just reach Tin Factory and you can easily find the route from there".Huh!!! I just wanted to yell!!! I know that guysssss!!!!!!!!

It was around 9:30AM by the time tyre was patched up and now i really had to hurry up to reach the place atleast by 11:30. So, quickly i sprung up on to the bike driving to my max.possible speed in that traffic. I heard and saw many cartoons reg. the blr traffic hassle but it was the first time i was seeing it LIVE!!!! It was not very tough to reach the Tin factory as i had a clear idea abt the route. There the tin factory was the juncture to deviate to many places/routes. I though of asking somebody who can give me some idea atleast abt the way that i shud move on. Hudreds of people were there and it just happened at a whim that i stopped at a person who looked pretty educated. Indeed i drove past him, but again just scrolled back to him and asked him the route. His name is Manoj Kumar. Manoj told me the route. Just before starting off, he asked me whether i cud drop him at Hebbal flyover, which is on my route only. So, just after a couple of seconds of serious thinking(whether its safe enough to lift a stranger and dat too in Banglore!!!!!!), i just felt lets help him. Oops!! Sorry!! we were helping each other :)

So he joined me and so there is no confusion atleast till the Hebbal flyover. But the outer ring road was the way to reach hebbal flyover. But unfortunately(or fortunately probably), the ring road was traffic jammed. So i need to off the engine and wait for atleast 4-5 mins. Manoj was saying that he never saw such a long traffic jam on this wide road before!!! Meanwhile, my sis called me up to enquire whether i had started off or not. I talked to her and tried to understand the route better. After the call, Manoj asked me whether i wanted to go to Vithurashtra. Man!!! i thought he is from karanataka. But fortunately he is from andhra, understand telugu and so heard our conversation. He said that to reach the Vithurashtra, the route which i have chosen Chikballapur -- Dhodballapur -- GowriBidnur is really very long. And to reach the place in this route it will take atleast 3 hrs on bike itself.

I was really confused. What my sis was saying and manoj was saying was quite contradicting. But manoj is an marketing executive and works on the route from Banglore to GowriBidnur. So i thought he could be more correct than my sis. So, i decided to follow him. And more fortunately, he too was going to GowriBidnur for his office work. So, he said he will be with me till GowriBidnur and then i can easily reach vithurasthtra from there. OK!! By the time we reached the Hebbal flyover it was already 10:15 and still 125KMS to go and dat too in 1Hr 15mins. B'coz i have to reach the place atleast by 11:30 otherwise its no use of my coming to blr that too on a weekday.

I drove veryyyyyyyy fast probably the fastest in my life till now. It was Apache RTR and so i could drive so fast, if it was my splendor+ i cud have never reached the place ontime. There was no problem at all about the route as manoj was directing me the way. It was 11:45 by the time i reached GowriBidnur. I think i drove at an average speed of around 90Kms. I just said bye to Manoj and went on the route to vithurashtra. It took another 10mins for me to reach the place. I was just 5 mins before the closure. Anyways the work i went for is partially completed. Though i was not happy that i was not on time, i was glad that i could atleast reached the place before the closure.

On the way back, i just wondered!!! Why should i ask(abt the route) Manoj only while there were hundreds of people there at the tin factory juncture? Why was my friends bike tyre flat for the first time after its purchase, that too when "I" was using it on very urgent work? Why should the traffic on the outer ring road was jammed so long on the day? Why should my sis call exactly when i was struck in the traffic??? Is this, what is called
DESTINY!!!

When correlated, manoj said that he came to busstop to find some bus to GowriBidnur just 5 mins before i asked him the route. If the tyre was not flat, i wud have passed the tinfactory juncture 15-20 mins before and wud have ended up going on the wrong route and could have never reached the place on time or atleast before closure. And that wud have been the worse thing that happened. I initially scolded my friend who gave me his punctured bike, but if that was not the case my trip to blr wud have gone in vain. So, as the saying goes "
Everything happens for a purpose, for a being, and it serves you", here for me,"Everything happened for a purpose, for a being, and it served me"!!!!!
